Wood Can Be Cheaper

Comparative studies of the economics of different wall framing systems indicate that, in terms of direct building expenses, timber frames are consistently the most cost-effective solution.

The following reseaarch paper, conducted by Andrew Dunn, CEO of the Timber Development Associatioin, shows that timber buildings would be 10-15 per cent more cost effective than other materials across many building types.
