Make It Wood is delighted to see that the world's
tallest timber apartment building is complete and opening its
doors at the Forté Living Festival from 22-23
February 2013 in Melbourne's Victoria Harbour.
Here's your chance to step inside the future and experience what it feels like to see, touch and breathe a healthier and more natural living environment.
The Forté Living Festival welcomes future living experts Peter Maddison and Arron Wood as well as many other inspiring individuals from Melbourne's music, street art, culinary and sustainable design community. Showcasing the future of good living in a unique festival setting, the event will play host to some of Melbourne's most creative minds, like Rooftop Honey and Little Eatable Eden. Forming part of the urban market exhibit these stall owners, among many others, will bring to life their creations, offering an exciting and experiential environment for everyone to enjoy.
There will be special programs and activities just for children like My Patch - an interactive workshop using a collection of raw and recycled materials to form a vibrant, mini cityscape of Melbourne or other imaginary cities.
Once twilight sets in, festival goers will have the opportunity to kick back and unwind at the Open Air cinema screening of ‘Urbanized'. The internationally acclaimed feature-length documentary explores the universal challenges and promises facing our cities today and in the future.
